    I like Beamer. It's hard not to. I find myself kind of rooting for the guy - obviously except for one game every year. I don't think you can overstate how important this upcoming season is for him and his program. He's gotta keep the momentum.

    UGA plays SC next year game 3, sandwiched between games with Samford and Ken State. I'd be very surprised if the Dawgs come out of the Samford game beaten up or look past SC to Kent State. It's UGA's conference opener and it doesn't matter where they play it. Dawgs....big.

    SC football -

    I think perception goes a long way. SC had some big wins - including big bowl games - during the Spurrier years. I think had he managed to climb the SEC mountain - win the SEC in 2010, for example - the perception of SC would be different. Those Spurrier years would be viewed much differently...

    All you hear about from the Clemson fanbase is "culture." Let Dabo drop to a consistent 3 losses and see how quickly the narrative of "culture" fades. Dabo pulls down about 8.3mil per year and it ain't to create good vibes.

    First time I’ve felt good about the future of football

    I was in the camp of Beamer being a good hire. I won't lie though, there were a couple of times this season SC was unwatchable and I was second guessing Beamer. I thought 5 wins would be a good season. I never saw yesterday coming. I think things my finally be looking up for you guys.
