Does anyone have some money i could borrow?

Bed bath, Kohl’s and others cancelled him because of his beliefs!! Period
I see his advertisements. Anyone can buy his product. What private businesses do is up to them. I believe that these businesses wanted his product out because of election lies he spread, election lies that Trump's own Attorney General and own Director of Cybersecurity said was "BS".

Hey. I will quit arguing you WON. You love Biden and his policies I disagree with pretty much everything he has done!!
I'm not arguing. Just having a discussion. It's not personal to me. Have a good day. I need to get ready to make some money in the markets tomorrow.

Yeah you’d think that while we have the ability to watch Ukrainians getting murdered and their cities destroyed there would be bigger things to whine about than paying more for gas.

Ironically they’re probably paying just as much for a gallon of milk and I doubt it will work as good in the gas tank.
Someone will always have it worse. So you think we should just settle for what we have? That's like saying my neighbor has cancer so I should be happy with heart disease.

While Biden's AVERAGE job approval rating is not good at 42.6%. It is higher than Trump's was (40.4%) at the EXACT same stage of Trump's presidency (SOURCE: FiveThirtyEight web site). I call them as I see them. We just have to agree to disagree.

Well, call the media coverage as you see it too. Trump had 93% negative coverage while constantly nut hugging for Biden, those numbers shouldn't even be within 40 points of each other.

It wasn’t this way before the Clown got elected. Just saying!! Why is it now?? Putin was scared of our last POTUS, gasoline and other needs were affordable, so make your concessions, good for you, however I remember “ the good ole days” of low prices, minority unemployment lowest ever, stocked shelves, secure America, etc etc etc but hey, I guess that was asking too much, MY BAD!!!

I can't relate to someone that actually believes Putin was "scared" of Trump. Putin saw Trump as so destabilizing and divisive to the United States, and the US relationship to Europe and NATO, he couldn't have been more satisfied if he had drawn up the game-plan himself.

As virtually every military official and foreign policy expert has said over the last few weeks- including some quoted on Fox- Putin has been planning this for years and wasn't going to be deterred.

Under Trump, NATO was fighting at each other's throats for 4 years. Countries like Finland (John Bolton has said Trump first thought Finland was part of Russia) which borders Russia were not remotely interested in joining NATO or having much to do with NATO. Now, they are debating joining NATO - which would be a nightmarish outcome to Putin.

Regardless, my profound disagreements with Trump run deeper than gas prices or the stock market performance.

My disagreements with Trump are over environmental policies having nothing to do with drilling for oil or gas, politicizing things like the Voice of America, his putrid lack of a health care plan to replace Obamacare that would help control costs, the utter hypocrisy of Conservatives regarding the national debt with a Republican in the White House that didn't give a rip about it, said so, and Conservatives largely remained silent.

HIs over the top, unnecessary divisive rhetoric that helped unnecessarily contribute to a coarsening of politics even further than it already was, a failure to try to actually reform and modernize the immigration system instead of just putting over the top quotas on legal immigration that even the pro Republican business community didn't want or think was smart.

and then his refusal to accept the election results like an adult, not being willing to appear at the inauguration and silly and constant whining about it like a kid that can't accept losing at recess.

Well, call the media coverage as you see it too. Trump had 93% negative coverage while constantly nut hugging for Biden, those numbers shouldn't even be within 40 points of either other.

Not if you count the numerous channels and online news organizations that shilled for Trump day in and day out.

Give me an example of a liberal being cancelled??

Oh goodness, where to start- just a small list since you asked

Dixie Chicks - old news now but near the top of their career- Conservatives went nuts on them for their comments and it never was the same again. I still can remember the numerous Fox News segments directed at them for daring to voice their opinion against George Bush.

Colin Kaepernick -

Eric Reid - Trump told a group of his supporters during a campaign rally, "wouldn't you love to see one of these NFL owners, when someone disrespects our flag to say, 'get that son of a bitch off the field right now. Out. He's fired. He's fired." The statement was welcomed by cheers from the crowd.

Nike - Nike released an ad that featured Colin Kaepernick, and in response, people on the right- especially Fox News - launched a massive boycott of the brand. Conservatives famously filmed themselves burning all their Nike products, including shirts, socks, and shoes.

Ellen Degeneres - When Ellen came out as a lesbian in 1997. Huge backlash was created by conservatives and religious groups. Her show was canceled the following year. She has stated she had trouble getting work after that for some time.

Samantha Bee - ripped Ivanka Trump creating a conservative backlash. Conservatives mounted a campaign against her advertisers causing some to stop advertising on her show. She was also ripped on Fox News relentlessly after Trump called for her show to be canceled.

Beyonce - after her super bowl show in 2016, Fox News and conservatives went after her and called for boycotts. It didn't work because she was so- and is so- popular.

Target - they announced that they would not discriminate against transgender people in 2016, instating a formal policy that allows customers to use the bathroom that matches their gender. Conservatives organized a boycott in response, with one religious group claiming to have 1.3 million people ready to stop shopping at their stores. Of course this failed.

Nascar- when Nascar banned the Confederate Flag at their races, a Conservative boycott was launched in several states at races.

Anytime someone like Sean Penn, Robert Deniro, Taylor Swift, or countless others show up in an online story about something they are doing, some movie they are in, or some cause they are involved with- there are countless posts from self described Conservatives about how much they hate them, how they will never buy any product associated with them, how they should be boycotted or shouldn't be getting any attention, etc.

and this goes back a ways too - but famous and prolific boycotter Bill O'Reilly. Bill never saw a boycott he didn't like when he didn't like someone. He called for boycotts of many people from his perch at Fox News- and Conservatives never had an issue with him doing it- many joining in with him because sadly- he was good at commanding his Conservative audience to join in on his boycotts. The list of people he went after is long.

None of the above was cancelled, lol. Carpet Knick is making millions, Nike and their sweatshops are being sold everywhere, the Dixie chicks were never Cancelled, lol, Target, I didn’t realized they were no longer around, etc etc etc

But yet we are still buying Putin's oil. Hummmmm.

We've done it for decades and no one ever stopped it.

WE still by oil from the Saudis- who kill people all the time they don't like- including in other countries. Every American President - EVERY- kisses their backsides.

Hopefully we won't be for long. Senators on both sides of the aisle have been calling for us to stop doing it.

Maybe we should try to be self sufficient where we shouldn't depend on these countries for oil...oh wait!

Actually it’s like whining to your neighbor who has cancer when your doctor charges more for his visit. It’s a bad look. Never mind the fact that most people on this board live in the South where they pay the cheapest for gas than many places around the globe.

I would imagine the South's cheaper gas is a result of the cost of living, wouldn't you? And the percentage of a wage going to gas is roughly the same everywhere right? Anyway, I think that's how the market works.

Pelosi & Schumer Attacking Trump Over Gas Prices Puts California Gov. Jerry Brown In An Awkward Spot

It was $2.97 a gallon then. Today it hit $4.00 a gallon on the way to beating the all time high of $4.11 a gallon.

And, no it's not a "bad look" to complain when it's the incompetence of this administration that caused this. Between their ignorance in energy policy and cowardice in foreign policy, nobody should be surprised.

They will justify ANYTHING, I don’t care if this lib says Putin was not scared of Trump, he didn’t invade anyone under Trump. And I agree NATO was being financed by the US, the others needed to pony up!!

Does this mean China was scared of Obama and not Trump since they didn’t release Covid during Obama’s time in office?

And with regard to NATO, I think that could have been Trump’s best accomplishment - calling out the other countries to pony up and take some ownership in their own defense. And I’ll bet now that Russia is invading Ukraine the NATO countries that stepped up spending are happy they did.

IMO, the Presidents this century have all contributed to what we are dealing with today. We're long overdue for a decent, uniting leader.

Bush did us no favors with the Iraq War and his role in the 2008 subprime mortgage collapse. His post 9/11 policies destroyed alot of momentum we had from the internet boom. He also had conflicting interests with the Saudis which drove policy.

Obama sounded good, but his policy was bad. He was all about himself and his place in history. Bed buddies with Wall Street - He started ridiculous amounts of money printing rather than guiding us through a needed recession. The irony was that this was devasting to the same middle/lower class he claimed to champion and he knew it. He was also a war monger and stroked special interest groups at home and abroad. He focused on critical race theory and people's appearance/background vs. their ability/potential. The opposite of the uniter he held himself out to be.

Trump tried his best to roll a pipe bomb into Washington/Lobbyists as well as through the corrupt media establishments. However, he had little emotional control and a very bad ego. Most of his policy ideas were good and had the potential to try to unwind a good deal of the damage done by the previous two Presidents, but his personality always got in the way.

Biden inherit a two decade mess. However, he's the worst President in my lifetime by a pretty good margin. It's painfully obvious he's corrupt, confused and acting in other's best interests, not the people. The amazing thing is how transparent the lies are, and how he doesn't seem to care. He was hand chosen by big corporations and the WEF largely due to his mental status. The entire thing is on autopilot.

Biden didn't inherit anything. He's only been in Washington for HALF A CENTURY. He played a big part in all these disasters for a long time. He is the swamp creature GOAT.
We were swimming in debt and COVID when he arrived. He just made it all exponentially worse in very quick order.

I seem to recall these poll numbers being used to say Trump was doing a bad job. I don't think Biden having similar numbers should mean he's doing a good job.

Inflation is not good. I agree with you there. But more jobs were created under Biden in the first 14 months of his presidency than any others' first 14 months. And I was critical of Biden on what I considered poor planning in the withdrawal from Afghanistan. But he has done a superb job of uniting the West against Putin. And Trump's own national security advisor, John Bolton, said Putin was waiting for Trump to withdraw the U.S. from NATO in a 2nd term.
The jobs that have been “created” by Biden, are NOT new jobs. Those are jobs coming back from the economy being shut down. Biden didn’t create s#*t!

If anything, China released covid to get rid of Trump because they knew the Dems would make it political and use it to get him out. And that's exactly what they did.

Yeah, fundamentally dishonest to even suggest he "created" those jobs. Lying propaganda. Biden did NOTHING to create those jobs. They were always going to come back as soon as covid was "over".

Not only that, he's made it pretty clear that if you dont use unions, he doesnt care about your business... which is probably 80% of businesses if not more.

Divisive rhetoric? Har! You leftists have two faces, and lie with both of them. Demagoguery, hatred, calls for violence, lies, ad hominem attacks....all of these are in the short table of contents of the leftist brain. A liberal that is a decent person with integrity is as rare as a 5 leaf clover. You are down to one leaf, rollerracist.

And refusal to accept election results? Leftist traitors' four year coup, daily sedition, and "resisting" were the longest temper tantrum we've ever seen.

It's not like that at all, dummy. Who in the USA is complaining to Ukrainians about gas prices? If you broke your leg and I broke my finger, I still have a reason to whine. I just wouldn't whine to you about it.

Not only that, he's made it pretty clear that if you dont use unions, he doesnt care about your business...
Got that right.

I don't know why people complain about "cancelling." It is not always a bad thing. Some things deserve to be cancelled, but it is rare that it actually happens. Anyone associated with BLM, any overt racist, the various companies that supported moving the all-star game from Atlanta, etc....all deserve to be cancelled. Any nut with socialist or commie desires needs to be cancelled. China needs to be cancelled.

I'll say one things though. I think the rage filled, narrow minded libs do a better job of it than conservatives. How many cons said they were done with the NFL, for example? Yet it is still going strong.

"It ($1.9 trillion pandemic relief package signed one year ago) was a big package. It was supporting demand. It supercharged the economy." -----Mark Zandi, chief economist at Moody's Analytics.

You can write to Zandi at Moody's and tell him he is fundamentally dishonest. If he takes back his assessment, I will be happy to retract. I will be fair about it, if he does. You can shoot at the messenger all you like. But, it does not change the message. Only Zandi can do that. Unless that happens, I won't respond further. Take care.

Hi Stocker. When and where exactly did you find this quote? It doesn't seem to be recent. Certainly came from long before the latest job reports.

I personally spoke to a state legislator who was a sponsor for the new voting bill. He said there was widespread cheating in Georgia that has been uncovered and proven. That was the only way TWO radical left wing senators could have been elected in that mostly conservative state. The only lies are the by the people saying they are lies.
