True... I think Herman’s ship has sailed here, but I do think he is a decent coach.
Well, I feel the same way about Herman as I did Muschamp. If he can't win big at Texas then he sure is not going to win big here.

The same- 8-0 because he has SEC talent at QB playing against Sun Belt teams. You mean the guy who is 8-0 right now and owns a win this year over Napier?
In what universe did this happen? You mean the guy who is 8-0 right now and owns a win this year over Napier?
It did not. The record is correct. They have not played Napier's team but another Louisiana school. In what universe did this happen?
Thats right. In fact Napier beat Freeze 35-14 in 2019.It did not. The record is correct. They have not played Napier's team but another Louisiana school.
Was it the guy that said that a coach reached out to him about the SC job and he wasn’t even an analyst?Saw a college football analyst on YouTube earlier today who said you would be surprised at how many prominent head coaches are interested in the South Carolina job. Of course he did’nt name names, but I tend to trust this guys opinion. I hope we get this right.
Absolutely. We need to quit this mamby pamby crap. We dont have the luxury of waiting 5 more years. It's time for freeze. It's time to win now.We need to win, NOW!!!
And he won at Houston. Doubt we can pull it off. But he's a proven winner, no question. But that's at Texas.
Scandals and resignation[edit]We need to win, NOW!!!
Wait! What? You are going from the most sure chance of success to the least sure and counting out everyone in between. Weird.I want Meyer period but I will take beamer over any other on our list right now.
Right. Forget Freeze. Freeze is crap. Jump on Napier. Or better still, forget Napier and jump on that boy down at Coastal since he HAS beaten Napier this year. Ain't that right? And if N.C. State beats presently undefeated Liberty, let's add Doeren to the mix.😆Thats right. In fact Napier beat Freeze 35-14 in 2019.
Actually they are 4th, but only one game out of first. Texas started rough but has righted the ship. All they have to do is finish second to get into that championship game and should be favored in every remaining game. So, I'll stick with my original statement. Don't get me wrong, I hate everything about them. I despise them right up there with UPC and Notre Dame. But in Ehlinger, they have a weapon no one else out there has. And so what if they don't win it? If Herman gets fired, it won't be this year unless they collapse completely. And Herman ain't coming anyway, but why would we want him if he can't win at Texas? In that case, it would be like hiring Muschamp all over again.
I agree with your second sentence. Everything else is blither.Right. Forget Freeze. Freeze is crap. Jump on Napier. Or better still, forget Napier and jump on that boy down at Coastal since he HAS beaten Napier this year. Ain't that right? And if N.C. State beats presently undefeated Liberty, let's add Doeren to the mix.😆

What is "blither"?I agree with your second sentence. Everything else is blither.
Tied for fourth. The tie-breaker doesn't affect that. If his tenure had been "good", as some count good, then his name would not even be coming up in connection with us or anyone else. But casting him as fetid chopped liver isn't exactly accurate, either. He is solid, even if he hasn't proven to be the wunderkind people first thought. I'm not pitching for him. I don't care about him. But I like for accuracy to prevail in these discussions.Actually, they are tied for fourth but don't own the tie-breaker with Oklahoma. Tie-breakers have not
So they are in 5th place, Oklahoma is in 4th and since they beat them head to head they hold the tie breaker over Texas.
Texas was down to Texas Tech by 21 in the 4th qtr and was able to tie it up and win in overtime. This is a Texas Tech team that is 2-5 and awful. They also only beat Baylor, who is 1-5 and even worse that TT by 11, it wasn’t a particulary inspiring game. They also lost to both TCU and Oklahoma. Granted they beat OkSt.
But anyone who thinks Herman’s tenure there has been a good one is just wrong. The people at Texas are very skeptical of him and a good bit of that is due his issues off the field. He is arrogant, and doesn’t mesh well with donors etc. He has a culture problem in the locker room.
The best OL to come out of Texas in years left the state this cycle due to the culture issues. Herman does dumb things, like flip off a live feed TV camera during signing day. Just is not a particularly mature individual that you would believe is good at imparting wisdom and values to young people.
Believe what you want but when a guy has his seat hot at Texas, do you really believe he has what it takes to win at SCAR?
If his tenure had been "good", as some count good, then his name would not even be coming up in connection with us or anyone else. Did you not see me say I'm not pitching for him? Did you not see me say I don't care about him? I'll talk about anything you want, but you need to save your argumentative energies for someone who is advocating him. My objective is realistic and fair assessment of what a person is or isn't.He won’t be good for SCAR, he is not a great HC. He is in year 5 and they are not really any better now than they were in year 2.
What is "blither"?
I think the word you were looking for was "blather", a noun that fits the context. No adjective works as "blither" was used in his sentence. That wasn't you who did that, was it?adjective
comparative adjective: blither

Markets have corrections. So must posters once in awhile. With a high-volume poster, its a matter of maintaining low correction frequency.Did King Ward admit he’s wrong? I also was not aware this is a formal situation King.
Start here: look up some synonyms for “Blather”. Let me know what you find...I think the word you were looking for was "blather", a noun that fits the context. No adjective works as "blither" was used in his sentence. That wasn't you who did that, was it?

You’re dying to catch me in a linguistic slip up.From the definition you first gave, apparently you didn't have a handle on it until you did a little research.
Not that important to me, honestly, but it's a slow afternoon. You’re dying to catch me in a linguistic slip up.
Whether I agree with you or not, at least you got us back on point.I'm still a little amazed that more people aren't pushing for Chadwell. He's had success everywhere, knows the state well, and he has an extremely strong rapport with his team. Yes, he does lack P5 experience, but in my opinion, the fact that he has 11 years experience as a head coach at the college level is stronger than with a few years of coordinator experience or one or two years as a head coach at the P5 level. He has demonstrated time and time again that he can make decisions that will help his team. There is a bit of a red flag with some NCAA things, but everything I've read indicates Chadwell wasn't directly involved with the wrongdoings.
His team was fun to watch today. Well-coached, played with confidence and never seemed to get rattled. I miss those days.I'm still a little amazed that more people aren't pushing for Chadwell. Hehe. My dad use to use that sometimes to describe our coaches. Usually it was " He is a blithering idiot to call that play!"blither is a new one on me
Well you missed your opportunity. Blither is a verb and I used it as a noun. Not that important to me, honestly, but it's a slow afternoon.
Ah, sure I've heard that -- didn't make the connection.Hehe. My dad use to use that sometimes to describe our coaches. Usually it was " He is a blithering idiot to call that play!"
