Some of you were real high on Kirby Smart because of his experience recruiting in the southeast. Looking at Jeff Brohm's recruiting classes, he has got players from:
Georgia
Florida
Kentucky
Tennessee
SOUTH CAROLINA
Alabama and
Mississippi.
He seems to be a Head Coach with a recruiting plan in mind to address short and long-term needs. His first class had 9 JC recruits. His 2nd had 2. His current class has zero JC recruits. If we give this guy the tools (recruiting budget and recruiting staff) to get the job done, he could do a great job for us. He has already shown what he can do on the field, winning 72% of his games and playing for a conference championship in only his 2nd year. Do we go with a young guy or someone eligible for senior citizen discounts?
