Don't remember about that, but they showed the inside. There was a waiter serving the owners. Ron Franklin had the call on the game, though.Yes, wasn't Ron Franklin eating pumpkin pie in a Cockaboose?

After reading responses, my theory is validated. Back in the day the fans showed up no matter what and I mean no matter what. I think there are a lot of factors....TV coverage and better quality TVs, instant social media coverage and streaming, and just a loss of interest and loyalty to your school. And it's certainly not just us.
I don’t miss home games
maybe they will haul out the cardboard fan-cut-outs from "The Program" to fill the stands.giving them away free on Athletics page
even if the Clemson game had been a blowout, it would be embarrassing to lose to the Zips!Well, regardless of attendance I just hope the team comes out ready to play. Would be extremely embarrassing to lose to the Zips after we played quempsum very close.

Dude I was at the game in question, in the student section. Yes, I was very inebriated!! =;-pIt was definitely at a game in the early 90's.
I was raised rightBoy, you are one true fan, congratulations to you.
neither will Akron as the opposition.Rain in the forecast won't help attendance either.
are you dried out now?Dude I was at the game in question, in the student section. Yes, I was very inebriated!! =;-p
Hence, no recollection of which blimp was there!!
What’s the back story on why that was scheduled on Thanksgiving? Also a weather makeup? Made for TV Thanksgiving extravaganza? Harder to schedule 11 “OOC” opponents back in the independent days?
I was alive back then, but my memory of this game and why it was played on that date is missing.
Yes, I was at that game. We played them after they played Notre Dame and before they played Oklahoma. Talk about a trap game. We almost pulled it off.
Watch No.9 for Miami hit Todd from behind at the :24 mark. A hit to the head like that would draw at least a one game suspension these days.
We went to the game that day. I want to say we did a Lowcounty Boil for our Thanksgiving meal.It was a good crowd and we won and they showed the inside of a Cockaboose on TV. One of Sparky's better wins, actually, besides the one at Georgia.
Honestly, the worst thing that could happen to that did. Those 3 11-win seasons, and the 5- peat, killed the "we'll show up no matter what" idea.Remember when people tried to say this was the best and most loyal fanbase in America?
If that's how they feel there's a local IPTAY Newspring that will be glad to take their donation!Honestly, the worst thing that could happen to that did. Those 3 11-win seasons, and the 5- peat, killed the "we'll show up no matter what" idea.
