True BUT that was the FIRST and to me experiencing that kinda success was the best. Wins against Notre Dame, Fla st. And that swarming blitzing damn the torpedoes defense did it for me. Their situation right now versus ours proves what I said incontrovertibly, in that they are in the playoff with a win on Saturday and we are adrift. Only a truly non-subjective system, a significant collapse of their program, an even more significant advancement of our program, or their affiliation with a more formidable conference, will ever change our respective potentialities.
I would add that the current CFP contract only runs through next year. Its glaring faults are already being exposed, and opportunities for improvement will come sooner rather than later and hopefully be exploited.
