I wouldn't say they suck, but as a staff we give up way too many free passes. Even our Friday night starter has a lot of trouble with the strike zone. He needs to learn to challenge hitters more and get to the late innings.

Walks have cost us several games this year.

Well, I've always preferred Big Spur, the previous mascot.

It might have been The Daily Gamecock which opined when Cocky was introduced that he looked so wimpy that he couldn't fight his way out of a wet paper bag.
