We gave these “student” athletes free rides and they just decide to give up and walk out on the team and university? Pathetic. Quitters. Losers. You can blame coaches and Tanner all you want but entitled punks like this are the real problem.

Did you read what you wrote? You have no basis for that opinion. When the last time you got something for nothing? Huh? Anything? These gentlemen have chosen to pursue their future as opposed to their present situations. Remember they are student/athletes at the university. They are not property. Nor are they slaves. Just like you can leave a job, if you do not agree with what is happening, they have that right too. They have the right to choose their life directions, at any time, just like you do. ( With the exception of the military; and there it is agreed upon in advance via a contract for a number of years).

Its interesting how so many of our "fans" quickly blame the players.
I say these players deserved better coaching and a better commitment from the athletic department leadership to making Gamecock football the very best it can be. They didnt get it pure and simple. They were let down.
This is a garbage season and it is totally Tanner and Muschamp's fault with some COVID mixed in. We are in WAY worse shape than when Spurrier quit on his team.
That's a little different. Debo was injury prone and say out a meaningless bowl game. I didn't like that either, but it's more understandable and a bit more typical
Bowl game wasn’t meaningless to his coaches, teammates, the alumni, or the fan base.
I wondered the same thing. Are they eating at the dining hall and living for free.?
That " meaningless" bowl game marked a major turning of the tide against Muschamp. An embarrassing beat down by ACC- UVA with Deebo on the sidelines walking around like he was a dignitary with a VIP pass.
