If the title wasn't clear enough, no this is not what I think, or even a real idea...but I'll post it anyways.
So here's the scopp on the reason it's taking so long to get a clear answer on our coaching search. It is because it's still a work in progress, with the latest installment coming up yesterday.
USC is taking a completely different approach to coaching. We will not have 1 head coach, we're going to have 2 Co-HBC's. Tom Herman is going to be our co head coach of offense while Smart is coming on board as our co head coach of defense. Will Muschamp will be our defensive coordinator, and we're now in discussions with Mark Richt to be our offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach.
That's just the word on the street.
