Donald J Trump certainly had the ability to direct his DOJ to do a full scale investigation of Hillmonster after he was elected. He chose not to. 1) Congress hasn't provided any evidence in the hearings of China controlling TikTok in the United States. In fact, Senator Rand Paul said last week on tv that he's still waiting for actual evidence of such.

TikTok is banned in China. If China controls it so well, why the need to ban it in China?

2) We aren't China. There are all sorts of things China doesn't allow that Americans enjoy. China doesn't allow people to criticize their local and senior politicians. But we do.

3) Your last comment is strange given Biden has stated he'd sign and supports a TikTok ban. Donald Trump is arguing against a ban.

Trump's DOJ opened an investigation into Hillary Clinton and the Clinton Foundation. The FBI opened investigations in Little Rock, Arkansas, New York State, and Washington DC.
