I imagine coaching at UT feels a lot like Eric Taylor did coaching at Dillon High School in the Friday Night Lights TV shows.

A bunch of big-bellied good ole boy types always in your face.

Mostly they are running to tell your mother (substitute AD and President for mother) that you aren't winning enough, aren't doing this or that correctly, aren't calling the right plays, should fire this or that position coach, aren't recruiting hard enough, etc.

Was hoping Urban would have gone to Texas. I hate Texas but with Urban would have pulled for them.

I'm way past the age to be naive but I read on a GC site that his wife was real estate shopping in Texas and of course I believed it.
