They would know the real answer to whether we play football or not. Liability has to be the driver, or at least a major factor. Even young people are showing damage from COVID even if they are symptom free.

For what reason? This is not political and there is no reason it should be.
This has been political from the first moment we heard about it. Just watch, the mania about Covid will suddenly start to wane the first Wednesday in November. If Biden wins, the press will be so happy that they suddenly will see silver linings and claim Biden is the reason. If Trump wins, they will be so busy crying in their beer that they just won't care anymore, as all of their best efforts didn't work to get rid of him.
It's notable that the children in cages shrank in significance once the Covid gained steam. That the narratives are being manipulated is beyond dispute. That said, this thread will be locked shortly and thankfully so. The moderators are doing a much better job of late.
I expected the conversation to go into the meetings that each conference is having right now. Right now, the driver is money from bigger conferences as we have seen with the MAC. Each conference effectively has a spreadsheet that is guiding their decision. The attorneys control the liability box. Whether it is trending up or down is the issue. This should be about money, not politics.
