I can’t think of any other one that numbers the field that way. And I’ll add the obligatory “Cajuns can’t count” joke.

To help Todd Ellis.I can’t think of any other one that numbers the field that way. And I’ll add the obligatory “Cajuns can’t count” joke.
And also the goalposts with two supports which they always go through when entering the field.tradition
similar to wearing the same uniform (with few exceptions) for every game
And also the goalposts with two supports which they always go through when entering the field.
The single support only came about because the NFL used to have the goalposts at the goal line and teams used the supports as blockers. Had it not been for that arrangement, the modern single support post might never have been adopted.Increases the odds of a goal post collision by 100%.
Now that’s funny. To help Todd Ellis.
Really? Like just two large posts in the field of play? Haven’t you ever seen those old NFL highlight films. Don’t remember exactly when they changed the goalposts, but it might have been in the mid to late 1960s?Really? Like just two large posts in the field of play? Learn something new everyday.
Assume you played for UK? What are your thoughts on the Cats? They sure got spanked by the Dawgs today....Was that way when I played in Baton Rouge. Thought it was awesome. Wish every school did that.
Never paid a ton of attention to them. But interesting.Haven’t you ever seen those old NFL highlight films. Don’t remember exactly when they changed the goalposts, but it might have been in the mid to late 1960s?

Seriously who with common sense would put two posts in the field of play? I’m glad a lightbulb went off for somebody.
The simplistic thought was that the goalposts should be on the goal line. But what happened was that field goals got to be too much a part of the game, so the decision was made to put them on the end line to lessen the impact of placekicking, which it did.Seriously who with common sense would put two posts in the field of play? I’m glad a lightbulb went off for somebody.
Momma's wrong a-gain!Momma says cause dem cajuns are so honory ands dey cant count on multiples of 10.
