Advertising Opportunities

I wanted to wait until I knew exactly what our numbers looked like around here before offering something like this, but now that we've been here for over a year, I have a good grasp of our daily views, subscriber base, etc. and I wanted to mention that we have very reasonable advertising packages available for any of you who work for or own a local South Carolina business and want your product or services in front of a few thousand Gamecock fans every single day.

To learn more, shoot me an email at calebalexander14@gmail.com or a DM here.

For those of you reading, don't worry, we aren't going to suddenly have a ton of intrusive ads or anything, but obviously, every little bit helps to continue to pay our talented staff here at Gamecock Scoop.

Fulwiley and Kitt

Milaysia Fulwiley reminds me of Clark, the Iowa guard who ended our basketball season in the final four. She is one of the best long range, rapid fire three point shooters that I have ever seen. She WILL be a leading scorer from game one and probably a Freshman All American. She hits 25- 30 footers in rapid fire style like no guard that has worn a Gamecock uniform. She was awesome in the McDonald's All American game (19 points). We, also, haven't seen the real Chloe Kitt, yet. She reminds me of one of the U. Conn. fowards. She is an excellent shooter, with a real quick release. She would have been in the 12th grade last year, and I hope she can get a redshirt year for last year.

WBB Newcomers Profile Thread

Hey y'all, hope you're doing well. We had a chance for brief conversations with all five of South Carolina women's basketball's new players yesterday, and I'll have pieces getting to know all five of them. I'll update this thread as the stories are published.

Here is the first one, on Oregon transfer guard Te-Hina PaoPao:

MLB Draft Live Thread

Getting ready for day two of the MLB Draft today, which will cover rounds 3-10. There were no South Carolina players or incoming recruits drafted yesterday in the first two rounds, but there should be some action today.

Will Sanders, Jack Mahoney, Noah Hall, Braylen Wimmer and James Hicks are the main names to keep an eye on who are leaving the program, and on the incoming side George Wolkow and Lee Ellis are the two highest-rated members of the recruiting class.

Updates to follow, starting at 2 p.m. ET.

Another Portal Strikeout

Two of Carolina’s biggest portal targets commit to SEC Rivals on consecutive days. I don’t recall Kentucky ever beating Carolina for a guy in baseball. Not sure the behind the scene story with this one.

Parker Livingstone- comments on South Carolina

Parker Livingstone WR On South Carolina - "They're great coaches, great people. I talk to them honestly the most out of any school. The OC there came from Arkansas and he was a huge part of my recruitment at Arkansas. I love (Shane Beamer). I had a virtual visit and I had a great time, it was awesome meeting all of the coaches, even if it was over the screen."

Rivals: Mid 4-star (5.9), No. 129 nationally and No. 21 in Texas
247: High 3-star and No. 75 in Texas
ESPN: Low four-star, No. 193 nationally, and No. 32 in Texas
On3: High 3-star and No. 127 in Texas

Portal Pickup Tyler Causey

Former North Carolina OF Tyler Causey (6-6 210), who attended high school at Nation Ford, announced a transfer to the real Carolina on Saturday.

Causey was at UNC from 2020-22 and played in 42 games. He missed all of last season with injuries. A left-handed hitter, Causey batted .254 with 3 homers and 14 RBIs in his career.

Causey was ranked 3rd in the state in 2019 class and 295th overall by Perfect Game. He was formerly a 37th round pick by the Marlins in 2019. I haven’t been able to confirm this but my guess is that Causey will be a walk-on.
