Dawn picks up a Birdie

The identity of said birdie has yet to be revealed. Just some possible guesses. Talaysia Cooper just entered the portal yesterday. She was a PG.

Hoop Gurlz 2024 #11 recruit Madisen McDaniel (PG) visited last week.

#2 Jaloni Cambridge (PG) listed Carolina in her final group last week - I think this is unlikely at the moment - not she won't ultimately commit- but I don't think she has already.

#6 Justice Carlton (F) listed Carolina in her final group recently- this would have nothing to do with Cooper transferring though.

#7 Imari Berry (G) is someone else that Carolina is expected to have some staying power with.

Or it could be someone out of the portal... Stay Tuned.

Before last night, The Yankees previous 3 Perfect Games had a common thread. Care to guess?

1. Don Larsen pitched the first Yankee Perfect Game. He is the Common Thread. Yogi Berra was his catcher for that game. It is the first and only Perfect Game ever pitched in the World Series.

2. David Wells pitched the second Yankee Perfect Game. He and Don Larsen graduated from the same High School. Loma Linda HS, in San Diego, CA.

3. David Cone pitched the third Yankee Perfect Game. It happened on "YOGI BERRA DAY" at Yankee Stadium. Yogi threw out the ceremonial First Ball. Unknown to Yogi or the stadium crowd, at first, was that the catcher, receiving that First Ball was none other than Don Larsen.

An interesting side note was that Yogi's number was #8. David Cone threw 88 pitches that day for Yogi's second Perfect Game.

Futurecasts Following Big OV Weekend

You'll notice there aren't any new futurecasts following this past weekend.....

because I've had futurecasts in on all the uncommitted folks prior to this.

With the info I've gotten I still feel good about all of them, and would call the Gamecocks outright leaders for Jonathan Paylor, Daniel Hill, and David Bucey, while I'd call them a 1a/1b situation with Ohio State for 5-star EDGE Dylan Stewart, which will be a long battle, though it's possible he tries to lock in his decision prior to his senior season.

Regional - Supers - CWS Feedback.

My 2 cents. This has to be one of the best post season college baseball I’ve seen in a few years.
Minus our Yardcocks. - It’s been pretty competitive.
I’m pulling for good games. Not having a dog in the fight. I change who I am pulling for depending on the underdog or momentum status.

That UT and CU regional nay be better then the taters getting beat twice by one team in their last appearance is good memory.

Ps. House taters. - 👍🏼
