We are a little more than a month from the start of fall camp and I know there will be a lot of bold predictions coming soon. Allow me to kick off the predictions with a few I believe will come to fruition.

1. JJ Enagbare will break one of Clowney’s sack records. Either most in a season or most in a single game. ( I believe the season total)

2. Enagbare will win SEC DPOY

3. Enagbare will be the 4th first rd pick in the last 5 years. That has to be a record I believe.

4. Behind a balanced offense we will avg 34 ppg.

5. Offense and Defense will both finish top 5 in the conference.

It amazes me the people that sit there could care less about the game. The people that were sitting there tonight only stopped taking long enough to take a hit of their beer and left in the 4th inning!

Since the coaches keep in touch with recruits almost daily that they are recruiting, I would think that the coaches tell a certain recruit that a position of need is almost filled, which would prompt some recruits to go ahead and commit or risk missing out. Is that correct?

I noticed last night during slow motion replays of events at home plate that the Vandy catcher closes his eyes when a ball hits the dirt, batter swings oddly as in reaches off balance, ball hits a batter and bounces off, tip foul.
Any one else notice? Doesn’t seem like a recipe for success. Not the characteristics of a major D1 player.

Does anyone know what percentage of the football team has received their COVID-19 vaccination? I know that there has been no official release because of privacy issues, but I hope that the coaching staff is fully vaccinated and that the coaches are encouraging the players to get their vaccines.

I realize that there are many different opinions on getting the vaccine and that some folks are leery of it (some reasons are understandable, some are just foolish or pig headed). I believe that the players should be strongly encouraged to get the vaccine because it puts the team at a competitive disadvantage to have players who could be found ineligible to play on very short notice.

Just look at the NC State baseball team. They were having a magical run in the College World Series when their season was suddenly cut short by players testing positive for COVID, making over half the team ineligible. I know many people blame the NCAA for the testing rules, but the blame is really on the players who did not receive the vaccine. The rules are the rules, it doesn't help to rail against them, you have to adjust.

The game Saturday between Vandy and NC State is declared a no contest and Vandy advances. It is a shame that NC State did not take care of business as far as vaccination and they were sitting in the cat-bird seat. Get vaccinated, folks, if you can do so safely..

we lucked out on Cardosa who is a really good catch.....clemson got the orange's leading scorer so they got something as well which they need for sure.

Posted this link a few days ago deep in another thread but thought I would post it again since we got the Landon Samson commit. This is Rockwall-Heath vs. Southlake Carroll. (A really crazy high scoring game.) Our DB commit Peyton Williams plays for Heath and Samson plays for SLC.

Here's a couple of spots in the vid to check out:

3:54 - Nice catch and run for a big gain. (Pretty sure that's Samson, put can't tell for sure.)
