Too many Disney+ watching princesses that think a football fairy godfather comes down from the sky and teams go from winning 6 games in 2 years to National Champions immediately.
Too early to tell. Not sure who is coming back or who will transfer in and out.

I say give Beamer a new eight-year contract— one year for each win this year. Although I thought he was brain dead going for it on 4th down at our 30, I loved the deep throw and awesome catch. That call reflects the gunslinger attitude we should have. Only problem: big money schools are going to be offering tons of cash for Beamer Ball. I’m thinking OU may want him back very soon.

I've always found the most toxic people are the ones like yourself where the new guy is always the best thing in the world. But the last guy was always the worst that ever existed. Then when you get a new guy, the current guy just becomes just as bad as the old guy.
Would not surprise me if Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana State or Texas AM offered this guy one million a year to coach special teams.
Coach Beamer did a great job of convincing these group of kids that they can beat top ten teams and deserves extension and pay raise.
He deserves an extension and raise, but not one so exorbitant that the buyout becomes a factor in whether or not we retain him in the future.
