It wasn't the offense that led us to the last two seasons...Kentucky both years, Tennessee last year for sure, Missouri last year. One could make the arguement that quicker starts on defense this year and it might be another bowl season.

We need a defensive guy that understands how to develop and recruit defensive personnel. This is not the Big !2, nor the ACC. This is the SEC and it is all about defense. Let's hire one of the best young defensive minds in college football - Will Muschamp,- and I think he has learned his lesson about offense. Besides, he has more quarterback talent on the roster now, and coming in, than he had his entire time at Florida.

Let's support this hire - if it happens.

Well, yes. and it is also true that our #1 rival in the SEC has, essentially, already done the same thing - hired a very good Defensive Coach with great SEC credentials to lead THEIR team. Now, it appears that we are going to do the same thing - different coach but one with prior HC experience. It is what it is.
