Afternoon folks,
Only a few days before kickoff, and I am very very excited for what will transpire in Nashville (Us kicking the dog mess out of the dores).
I have a question for anyone who may own a Polaris or John Deere side by side. I have a good sized plot of land that I hunt deer on every year, as well as take the grandkids out for camping and what not. Been using Big Chester (my palomino) for the past 20 years to get around the property, but he's getting old (23 this November). I'm thinking that a side by side would be faster, and save Big Chester's legs.
I was looking at the Polaris RZR 900, which seems like a pretty good machine in terms of life cycle and gitty up, but the real question I have is in regards to the locking systems. How easy would it be for a four year old child to start this thing up, and get it going? Keep in mind, this four year old is incredibly cunning, and has operated heavy machinery before. I'd like to have peace of mind knowing that my four year old grandson isn't out ripping up deer corn while I'm at Dollar General. This lock needs to be incredibly sophisticated, similar to that of a Las Vegas casino vault. My grandson is very sweet and unassuming, but if you turn your back he becomes Mephistopheles. His knowledge of small engines is very advanced for his age, and he isn't afraid to go fast.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'll continue to push Chester this season, but I'd really like to have that side by side soon.
Go Cocks!
