I have read on this site where several posters have made negative comments about fans who decide to purchase tickets to football games. First of all I will be the first to say noone likes losing and noone
likes the way the football team is playing. With that being said if a person decides they want to support the team through the hard times through thick and thin that is their perogative. If you do not want to
go to the games that is a personal choice as well. Do not criticise people who make a personal choice to attend the games. Like I said noone is happy and noone likes losing. I see this issue as as sign of the
times we live in. When the going gets hard lot of people have been taught to quit. Look at marriages the divorce rate in America is over 60%. Once they face a hardship they cite irreconcilable differences.
Instead of trying to tough it out they quit. I remember when Dawn Staley took the USC womens basketball coaching job she was told by a lot of her peers not to take the job. The first couple of years she
struggled but the administration and the fans stood by her, well you know the rest of the story. Please do not tell me not to go to the games if I choose. That is not your choice. Anyway lastly when USC
applied for membership in the SEC I remember several coaches and AD'S and Presidents in the SEC that one of the major factors for inviting USC was the loyalty of their fan base that stood by their team
no matter. Tennessee is another school where the fans have stood by their programs. They too have been through hard times but on Saturday when you watch them the stadium is full. That too is personal
decisions made by their fan base. Finally i will be attending and supporting any program that USC has no matter what. That is my personal decision. Hope everyone has a great day.
