You Marshall bashers just won't admit it...but you know now you were wrong.
Honestly, no one knows how the man will do once he signs with a big program. But one things for sure...he's gonna make a lot of money.
He loves USC and in hindsight we should've given him the chance.
ima hang up and let y'all keep at it.
He's now making more than all but 2 SEC coaches (both have national championships).Originally posted by pepsicock:

An AP and Naismith COY who has taken a team from the MVC to an undefeated regular season and Final Four. Multiple teams to the Sweet Sixteen and NCAAT appearances. Yet, you question his coaching ability. Your desperation and jealously is so amusing. With all your GM nonsense at some point you'd think you would learn to just keep your mouth close.
Many posters here have provided insightful possibilities on GM. Yet, you throw piddly jabs that seem to have the weight and backing of a 100 pound man soaking weight.

I think the real question is: if he "loves USC" so much, then why isn't he our coach? If we offered him money, despite the amount, and he loved USC soooo much, then why couldn't there be an agreement made? Wouldn't you think if Marshall "loved USC" and "was his dream job" then he would try and negotiate whatever terms he could, whether it was less money than he thought he should be owed up front or not, to get the job?Originally posted by pepsicock:

There has to be, in this case, 2 parties to be "in love" and USC never was going to fall in "love" ..Originally posted by RickyRooster:

Just because he's in love doesn't mean he's stupid. And if you make career decisions based on the team you're a fan of, you're probably not going to do so well in your career.Originally posted by RickyRooster:

Sad is because of a few so called Gamecock posters are so mad because Gregg Marshall is not our coach and they hate Frank Martin because of that. That's what's sad.Originally posted by uscfan1981:
