It depends? Bama has only played one ranked team, aTm. Bama has the weakest SOS to date but that will change starting this weekend. LSU on the other hand has played the toughest and it is only getting tougher which is why they jumped ND. Basically ND has only played Michigan, and I don't think the Big 10 is that great so Michigan's season starts this Wknd with Penn St.

That said, if ND had only played TN, aTm, Arkansas, Ole Miss, and Louisville like Bama, they would still be undefeated as I think Stanford could beat most of those and they are ND second best game.

I get where you're coming from, but I don't think ND beats all those teams - and definitely not Stanford. Stanford is not good and the Pac-12 is worse than the ACC.

They both play a cream puff schedule and ride that till the end of the year when they are finally forced to play a real team and they get curb stomped. Stanford has good talent with lots of 4-5* players so they could beat a lot of teams on a good night.
