Ive been tailgating at Swamp Cabbage brewery since 2014 and its been fabulous but unfortunately the owners decided to shut down back in December and now I need to figure out a new plan for tailgating this year.
They had indoor restrooms, a sheltered/indoor area with a TV showing games, and they were always cool with me bringing my tow behind smoker trailer and parking it out of the way. It was a great deal particularly when the fair was in town, I wouldn't lose my parking spot like I would in the fairgrounds.
Does anyone have any other facilities they can suggest looking into that has similar amenities? The only thing I've found that was decently close was Cockpit Park but it was a bit on the expensive side.
Talking a little early football power rankings, some recruiting news and trying to unpack this baseball situation. Come stop by and vent if you're around:
Hey y'all. I studied all 229 batters Will Sanders has faced this season trying to figure out trends, stats, specific struggles and if he might have a way to turn this season around before it's too late. Here's what I found:

Intriguing pick up here. Hughes has D1 experience at Charlotte. Staff saw him up close last year. We’ll have more on Hughes in the coming days.
Tournament play began this morning. Gamecocks are the #1 seed at the Athens Regional. The men had a poor year and did not qualify for the men's tournament.
Top 5 advance. Georgia is up early. They don't have as strong of a team as Carolina but they are playing on their home course. Again making the top 5 is all that matters. The regional round is 54-holes, 18 a day for 3 days.
Greetings from a sweltering hot Founders Park, over 90 degrees right now for this penultimate midweek game of the season. The visitors today are the North Florida Ospreys, who have a 25-23 record out of the A-Sun conference.
Talmadge LeCroy is back in the starting lineup three weeks after his hamstring injury, a very welcome sight for the Gamecocks. Will Tippett is out with a wrist inury though, so the game of musical chairs on the infield continues. Here's the full lineup for the 4 p.m. first pitch on ESPN+.
Dylan Brewer - LF
Gavin Casas - 1B
Ethan Petry - RF
Cole Messina - 3B
Michael Braswell - SS
Talmadge LeCroy - 2B
Carson Hornung - DH
Jonathan French - C
Evan Stone - CF
I didn’t like it when it happened and we are 2-5 since. And almost swept twice
When Veacher ( I think it was veach). Hand counter 1-2-3 after the last strike against UF . It wasn’t a good look
UF players didn’t come out and shake hands afterwards. - I’m not a fan of UF. Or their coach - But you dont need to rub it in after a hard fought series.
I know there have been injuries. But karma is a bitch.
Hopefully they can get it together. - starting today. Start playing to win and leave the Busch league stuff out of it.
Btw. It was only one player but ironically it’s the pitching that is hurting the most.
Story with quotes from Mark Kingston on today's game. He also said that they are "not quite ready" to announce anything on Eli Jerzembeck, that Will McGillis took BP on the field today and nearly started, and also that Braylen Wimmer's status for playing is "maybe this weekend, maybe next weekend."
I've noticed that a lot of fake names keep popping up and spamming the board with posts. In general, if you don't recognize a link from Rivals or another major news site, I'd probably refrain from clicking on it. If you flag the post as spam or harmful or whatever I'll get a notification and ban the member and delete the posts. I've mostly caught them within a day or two, but I'm not on here 24/7 so just be careful out there.
Last game of the weekend in the Bluegrass state, and one South Carolina could really use after dropping the first two by a combined score of 21-10.
Mark Kingston shook things up a little today as a result, going with Michael Braswell as his new lead-off hitter in an attempt to jump start the offense.
Here is your full lineup, with first pitch at 2 p.m. on SEC Network
Michael Braswell - SS
Dylan Brewer - CF
Ethan Petry - RF
Cole Messina - 3B
Gavin Casas - 1B
Caleb Denny - LF
Jonathan French - C
Carson Hornung - DH
Will Tippett - 2B
No Midweek, this week (???, whaddaheck dat mean?). Can't overlook any team but, auburn is a good team to play after a short break.
We still have work to do but, God willing and the creek don't rise ... seriously, ... we can pull this off. It's a long road to Omaha but, keep the faith!
Per the university, there will be a ceremony before Friday's baseball game to retire Kip Bouknight's jersey. Bouknight won the 2000 Golden Spikes award and still holds the school records for inning pitched and stirkeouts in a career.
