Three years ago on this date, a doctor took my heart out of my chest, I think he stomped on it, then put it back and called it a triple bypass. Too bad I had 4 blockages but what the hey. Eight years ago in February, my friend Bill died. His son, Glenn, told me that he guessed that I knew I was now his dad. Six years ago on this date, Jeff and I had to tell Glenn's mom that it was time to turn his life support off. And today, I get trolled by Wes Mitchell. 2015, 2018, 2021. Think I see a pattern so in 2024 on July 18th, I'm staying in bed all day.

Apparently someone with big bucks has bought that entire block.

We have two threads running right now that are polar opposites. One asks for opinions on the biggest positive surprise as a Gamecock recruit. The other asks for the biggest disappointment as a Gamecock recruit. The negative thread is almost 2 to 1 in activity compared to the positive thread. It seems to be a trend on this board. Imho

...tapes of show highlights in the 90's. I used to have all of them, but somehow they got lost or misplaced over the years.

Do y'all know of anyone that would have any of them for sale, or perhaps where they could still be bought? The only thing that turned up on the internet was an Ebay auction that ended about a month ago. Thanks for any help.

What I read made it sound like they are polluting the air and the water but are denying it. I lived around the International Paper mill when I lived in Georgetown. If the wind was blowing the right way it was pretty bad, but I learned to live with it. (For 8 years)

If you thought you were being hit up for "need" based giving before, what is going to happen when we try to keep up with the richer schools in providing "educational benefits." The fundraising machines are going to go into overdrive soon. And they will want us to donate to provide more "education benefits" to athletes, some of whom will be making serious money (more than their instructors) with NIL $$ flowing in. These programs will be hugely expensive as Title IX will dictate that the benefits be provided evenly. And of course, this is all to provide even more to students that already receive more than your kids or my kids receive in exchange for us paying the rising tuition and associated costs of college.

Since it is well documented about the use of TE in the offense this year under Coach Satterfield and Beamer, who else has potential to break through on the Roster?

What does the depth chart look like? I have heard maybe Jenkins to TE in some formations. Also are drops an issue with Nick Muse? Any other players with good size under rated like Jared Cook was?

I still love the TE drag play to Wesley Saunders under Spurrier. Anytime we needed a big play that one worked a whole lot. One player breakdown on the defense and we had a 40-60 yard gain.

I have been checking this site for what seems a long time. I would rather this recruit to make sure of his decision before he anything else is done.

this is not on coach Beamer! He took the call in good faith. Various sources knew about it and again in good faith honored the privacy of the commitment.

we are dealing with a young man. We don’t know anything about what’s holding up the announcement or at least I don’t.
I choose to be fair and let this run its course! If the recruit does commit to the gamecocks that’s great! If not, that’s ok.
Best I can remember I was 17 a long time ago and I was not always certain of what I was going to do. Time will tell.
