The big news tonight is Will McGillis is back in the starting lineup for the first time since March 24th.....although he is playing left field. An interesting spot there, somewhere he didn't play all year before his injury. Would assume that's an attempt to keep Michael Braswell and Will Tippett -- who homered again Sunday -- in the lineup while Braylen Wimmer is still only available to DH.

Cade Austin will start on the mound, but you'll probably see half a dozen or more pitchers tonight in a game that really does not mean a lot in the big picture with the Tennessee series looming on Thursday. I've seen alot of vehicles with the Gamecocks logo or the University of South Carolina stickers, are any of you on here? If so, where do you watch Gamecocks sports or do you stay in the comfort of your own homes? I live in Chesapeake and work at Norfolk Naval base

Is having a nice little run in the SEC Tournament. As the 10 seed they knocked off Texas AM 1-0 in 8 innings and moments ago upset the #2 seed UGA 2-1 in 8 innings. They will play #3 seed Auburn tomorrow at 4:00 pm in the semifinals.

I think they were probably in the NCAA tournament regardless but they are lock now with two more quality wins.

Mahoney silenced the piggy park for seven innings to help South Carolina for the win. Defense gave the hogs no help either.

Don’t care the sport, love hearing the Carolina fight song being played at a Tennessee athletic complex after beating the Vols. Especially sweet ending their season.

Story on game two of the series in Fayetteville, where a clutch Jack Mahoney gem halted the losing streak.

Came two from Baum-Walker Stadium coming up at 7 p.m. ET........hopefully. Right now the tarp is on the field in Fayetteville, but hopefully they weather will pass and they can play baseball soon.
