What are your thoughts on Johnson from the Eagles. Do we have a shot they are you think?

One of the rare occasion that FCS is in the spotlight. Three games tonight with two being on ESPN2. Tomorrow the Jackrabbits play Holy Cross on ESPN2. I think the FCS Championship game will between the Bison and Jackrabbits. i do not know why Jackson State does not participate in the FCS playoffs.

I could not help but laugh when I saw this.

what is up with him leaving? Can't figure. where would he go and get better playing time and recognition?

Stogner has accepted an offer to go back to OU

I hope the offense going forward will incorporate a healthy diet of FB/TE combo players that can catch the short screen pass, and also run the ball in some situations into the offensive attack.

Few teams see that approach anymore and really aren't prepared for it because they don't practice against it.

It's an old school approach but I am not calling for it to be our offensive attack- just incorporated into it some.

Clemson was totally unprepared for that in our game- because so few teams have those plays.

It would really be effective if we practice it and get good at it. I am not sure we beat Clemson without it- even if we throw out of the set.

My fear is a new o-coordinator will not have that in the offense. Heck it took us all year to really start to do it.

Unless we hire the right OC and offer a lot of money. I mean technically that's the new way now. Transfer portal is just like asking for a raise.

Fighting Irish will be down another of their key contributors for the Gator Bowl in three weeks. Foskey had 11 sacks, and nobody else on the team even had more than three. Also led all their defensive linemen in tackles.
