No 1 Running Back

Is there any doubt about who our #1 Running Back is now? NO! NO! ITS MARIO! Kid runs hard and has better vision. The TD run he made was awesome. With 88 yards and a 3.4 avg this week and a 5.3 avg against Furman (the only other game he had any significant playing time) he is clearly our best option. After Joyner's fumble I don't believe he played any more, or at least very little. I think the running game can get better with Mario as the #1 option as he continues to gain consistency and rhythm with the offense. I was also impressed with his blocking. He picked up the blitz well which allowed Rattler to throw a TD pass in second half.

That was a great win; Tennessee is critical, for both teams

Miss Sts QB is elite, one of the SECs All Time passing leaders, im not that concerned with giving up points, we won and the offense looked pretty good.

Now Tennessee, a critical game for both programs. We scorched em last year. So they’re clearly beatable. If they lose and fall to 3-2, by their 2023 hopes and dreams its a disaster. If we lose and fall to 2-3, same for us. But a win, and 3-2, with 3 of our 4 toughest opponents past us, and a bye week, and we could be shaping up for 8 wins or more.

Dang this is a critical game coming up

USC v. Mississippi State - Score Predictions

Current Line: USC: - 6.5 ; Over/Under: 48.5

---------------------------

We obviously need this one badly with the team headed to UT next weekend before the break.

Ratter continues to perform at a high level and receivers are able to get separation.

The run game finally shows some signs of life.

Our DBs tighten up against comparable talent and the DL continues to progress.

We might have a bit of a hangover out the gates but eventually the team eventually gets on track and pulls away.
