Oh boy. Furman is 6th in the nation in FCS, up there with the giant killers like NDSU. They have a transfer QB who was All Pioneer League (like our 2021 QB Jason Brown remember?) and is All SoCon Preseason 2nd team.

I hope i’m wrong with every fiber of my being but last night’s performance and recent hires make me start to wonder …….. Year three of Muschamp 7-6. How many fans would happily sign up for that right now? This team is staring down the barrel of a 1-4 start unless major improvements are made. I’m still pulling for Shane. He’s brought us some big time wins but after two seasons his record is equal to Will’s no more no less.

I do not like, at all, the football helmets being worn in the game against NC! Why can’t they just leave the helments alone. It is not broken so why change it.
