Listened to Wes and Chris yesterday and they mentioned a NFL format possibly and I think they are right. This is what I'm thinking will happen.

The USA 3x3 team will play two games overnight. The semifinal game against France is at 4:00 am. The other semifinal is between China and ROC. The losers play in the bronze medal game at 7:45 am. The winners play in the gold medal game at 8:55 am. Allisha Gray is averaging 5.4 points, and team-highs of 4.7 rebounds and 1.3 assists in the Olympics. The games can be streamed on NBCOlympics.com and will be carried live on USA Network.

by not being in a good Super Conference would it hurt them even more if we quit playing them? Or would it be about like it's been and they feast off cupcakes? Thought?

i could see west virginia leaving the big 12 and joining the acc. never really understood them joining the big 12. makes geographical sense. what about maryland bolting the big 10 and rejoining the acc. that would give the acc 16 teams. what say you?

With the continued addition of teams from well outside the southeast region, with more to come, a name change is inevitable at some point. Teams the stature of Texas and OU will eventually want a name that better represents them. Nothing is sacred in college football these days, not even the name “SEC”.

Wonder what the league will go with.

I’m assuming SC, Kentucky, Ga and Fla can vote together and keep their in-state rivals from joining the conference?

Looks more and more like the league is trying to go beyond 16.

I am sure there are lots of options but who would you rather see?

Clempson and FSU?
Louisville and Clempson?
FSU and Miami?
Ohio State and Michigan?


Also, was hoping the league would add schools that compete in men's soccer. UT and OU do not. OU does have men's gymnastics and wrestling teams.

The two universities just issued a formal request to join SEC and start competition in 2025 season.

When A&M joined the SEC there was supposedly a "gentlemen's agreement" that the Aggies would have sole veto power to block any Texas University from joining the SEC. See Link Below.

Well so much for the word of a athletic conference. This saddens me the SEC would renege on such an agreement. The Aggies should have gotten the agreement in writing.
