GJ, I found it interesting that no one mentioned my prior criticism of Biden re: inflation AND my criticism of Biden's poor planning re: the pull out from Afghanistan. I don't remember if that criticism was on this thread or another. But lo and behold give him any credit on anything, and his detractors want to jump on you. I suppose that's the nature of our politics today. I've said it before and I'll say it again: I have supported Republicans in the past and like some current ones now...... maybe not ones you or others like, but still.
I agree that some of the jobs created under his watch would have come back anyway. But, not all, this soon. I googled and found the following article: "Biden Sets First-Year Record With 6.6 Million Jobs Added". You will find a Zandi quote in that article.

We are just going to keep beating our heads against the wall if real life consiquences arent administered when something like fraud is proven. Now I have no doubt fraud has been committed. Whether or not it was enough to change an election? Who knows? If they do, it never gets to the people. What frustrates me is why hasnt someone been charged with a crime or even held to account in fraud cases. Why are we having investigations in the first place if the perpetrator is just going to deny it and that's that with nothing done. Very frustrating.
He will personally need to speak to Trump appointees Bill Barr and Chris Krebs about that since Barr and Krebs continue to say what they have said.

Except I don't need any economist to tell me that adding nearly $2 TRILLION to the economy is a huge stimulus to the job market. I could say that the 5 economic courses, including labor economics, at USC, taught me that because I stayed awake in class. But it's really common sense. The stimulus also produced higher than normal inflation, which I previously was critical of saying it was not good.
And just WHERE do you think this $2 trillion dollars is coming from, a TREE?? It is coming from ME, and tax pauyers like me. The entitlement bunch that refuses to work are the only people "Making out on this"

It was no secret that Lindell supported Trump and Republicans- and none of those companies cared. But then he made it the entire focus of everything he was doing- and was and is being sued by numerous companies for making unsupported allegations - then he became toxic to most companies- and they dumped in- which is their right.
I'm for companies making the decisions they feel is best for their company. That's what freedom is about.
The alternative is for the government to prevent companies from making decisions on who they associate with and I don't think that makes sense.

Clearly not all Republicans in Georgia think the election was rigged or believe Donald Trump. In fact, almost all of the Republican election officials even at the county level in Georgia don't think the election was rigged or fraudulent. The ones that do are extremists in my view- and they are the minority- but vocal.
Some party lines are blurred. No doubt.

I just don't see much difference in terms of the damage done to the middle/lower class. The money printing was a quiet, deadly form of inflation which never should have happened. "Put your money in this mutual fund earning 6-8% APR while we behind-the-scenes debase your currency at 15% ARP? And if you were in cash, then you got destroyed. When Obama kicked this off full blast, our country was also pulling in more tax revenue than ever before. We need better options in DC.

Another discussion point: You can learn almost anything on the internet now for free. YouTube and Reddit have everything you really need to learn any trade, regardless of your education level. Top Universities also offer courses for free in most every subject now. Elon Musk has stated something similar.
This begs the question: When do we cross the line between it being a resources issue versus a motivation issue? Almost all of America has access to the internet. If you failed out early in school and have comprehension issues, learn a trade like Tiling - for example. Pays well and you can work for someone until you can work for yourself. Construction jobs are endless.
