Of course it’s not true.......yet
Most policies give discounts to non smokers already. If it were true, I'd immediately want insurance not to pay any related expenses for smokers, or overweight people (just for starters). But that's just wishful thinking.

Insurance isn’t worth the paper it’s written on these days. The insurance industry is a total scam and has been for a while. Unless it’s free from your job your better off paying outta pocket. Screw all insurance companies.Yeah, my insurance gives a small discount. That's a world of difference from not covering something.
Maybe they should just offer a discount to vaccinated people?
You want to give them more reasons to deny coverage?!?! Wow, they don't want to pay for anything already. Lord help you if you need something that they consider "experimental."Yeah, my insurance gives a small discount. That's a world of difference from not covering something.

Ever cracked a tooth? Extraction, covered. Implant replacement? Cosmetic. No coverage. Called my wife my prison girlfriend while she was waiting on her new front tooth.Lord help you if you need something that they consider "experimental."
I’m looking to other countries for my medical care. We have turned healthcare into a production line in America. Very, very few private doctors left who are doctors because the were called to HELP people. It’s not that way in other countries. We rank way below many less blessed countries in health care. Greed is the deadliest sin and always the reason civilizations collapse. You want to give them more reasons to deny coverage?!?! Wow, they don't want to pay for anything already. Insurance companies should be required to be non-profit corporations...with medical professionals making decisions on coverage, not accountants.
I had a health issue a few years back while in Costa Rica and had to visit a local clinic. Better than any comparable experience I've had in the US.I’m looking to other countries for my medical care. This. Sometimes I feel like I have to jump through hoops to give my patients med they need. Insurance companies won’t cover med unless I prove cheaper med doesn’t work and has failed. And most times it’s multiple failed drugs and trials before they will cover. Some insurances are limiting the number of visits a provider can have with a patient and won’t cover visits over a certain number. You want to give them more reasons to deny coverage?!?! I would extend that to cranial injuries for motorcyclists who don't wear helmets. If it were true, I'd immediately want insurance not to pay any related expenses for smokers, or overweight people (just for starters). But that's just wishful thinking.
Can't wait for the first lawsuit to start....Of course it’s not true.......yet

No, not at all.
What I was saying was that if we're going to pick behaviors to eliminate people from coverage, there are a lot I would put forward before the refusal to take an experimental vaccine.
But no, I don't take the premise very seriously.
Of course, having said that, it's also on the "it wouldn't surprise me" list if someone tried it.
