No you don't. He just got here and he has a huge mess to clean up. Now you're really being ridiculous. We are less than 2 months from from his first real signing day so we have a pretty good idea of his recruiting at this point.

By then we will be able to see if OL and OC improve and deserve more time or not.I'm glad to hear you say that.
You have zero self-awareness. How many times can pumpers put their hands over their ears and yell Tater? So predictable and you call me repetitive, LOL.
You aren’t helping, you are enabling failure. This is why USC Alumni/fans get the worst ROI of any power 5 fanbase in the country. No fanbase supports more and has less to show for it than us.
Argue that Mr. status quo.
I don't think it was this one isolated game. It was three terrible games in a row culminating with that game that fans realized how this was going. A come from behind squeaker against the mighty ECU Pirates, followed by a humiliating blow out by UGA and then this pitiful display of offense had a cumulative affect on the fans. It became clear this staff could not motivate and prepare these guys any better than the last staff, and maybe worse. One game? One game that was within a touchdown, lost the fans? Pretty crappy fans if so. Kentucky won because they had a 100 more yards, ten more first downs, 15 more plays and an outstanding 144 yard rusher. That offset the three turnovers. Not hard to work out. Kentucky is a 6-1 team, hardly a reason to lose the fans if a close loss. IMHO, Muschamp loses that game by 20.
Unless you're Frank Martin. He gets longer.5 or 6 years, of course. 😉
Being blown out by UGA this year really isn't humiliating. For weeks we were the only team to score an offensive touchdown against them. They were and have blown everyone out besides Clemson. To expect any other result between the two programs at this point is a bit disingenuous.I don't think it was this one isolated game. Appreciate your post, agreement is never required. That's why I love these boards, dissenting opinions are essential. I do not believe Beamer is ready for this job but have said he could grow into the job. But that will be a painful, miserable process.I have always enjoyed your posts. You even helped me with YouTube TV a while back. But it seems like all you post is your disdain for Beamer. He ain't going anywhere. All we can do is hope he makes the changes he needs to make. Dabo went through the same things before he hired Chad and then Venables. Let's at least get through the year and see what happens.
I get the "fans settling for mediocrity" bit , but you have to at a bare minimum give him a couple of years. Some say five. Depends on progress.
The wins and losses don't matter. This team does not look improved in the remotest. Yes, everyone knew this would be a bad season, what they did not know was that this team doesn't look better by any measure. This team is undisciplined, the offense has no identity (Kurt Roper's offenses sucked, but they at least knew what they were trying to do), the offensive line play is beyond embarrassing, and the coach has shown little ability other than pumping sunshine to anyone who will buy it. It is readily apparent based on the first half of the season, that Beamer is out of his depth. Just because his dad was a Hall of Fame coach does not a Hall of Fame coach make. I am sure he was a good assistant coach, people have said as much, perhaps the crown of head coach is too heavy and does not fit. Most teams could point to improvement game in and game out. I have watched each of our games twice and I see a team regressing.Everyone with a brain knew this was going to be a very bad season. Now that it has been exactly as predicted, the pitchfork patties are in an uproar.🙄
There have been some disappointments, but it could still work out. That window is rightly finite but will involve multiple years, probably not less than three. Right-thinking people are hoping and/or praying that it works out. Everyone of good faith wins if it does. To me, people of good faith are all who matter....Sometimes the pitchforks are out because the monster of forever mediocrity or worse is lurking and many of us with the pitchforks predicted this when the administration laser focused on Beamer as the hire.

That being said, this offseason is going to be critical. Satterfield has to be removed. I'd call Art Briles but at minimum why not get someone like GA Mangus here? Both of those guys are available and would crawl to Columbia. A sputtering offense will doom any head coach. As I've said many times, you can't be bad and boring. That's a death spiral for the fanbase and creates apathy quickly.
Way, way too early to be making any judgements of this type. He has not even been here a year. Anyone with even a sliver of intelligence knows this. Yours is a prematurely negative post. No you don't. He just got here and he has a huge mess to clean up. Now you're really being ridiculous
It hasn't been a year. In fact he has only been here one full semester. Get real. It’s ridiculous to evaluate someone’s first year on the job?
that’s a ridiculous argument.
If you're getting paid to be responsible for an enterprise, you're getting judged. That's part of what the money is for. It’s ridiculous to evaluate someone’s first year on the job?

Fortunately the pitchfork patties don't do the judging except in their own ignorant world. If you're getting paid to be responsible for an enterprise, you're getting judged. That's part of what the money is for.
Good counterpoint imo, however ours is a college football program that rarely gets better as the season wears on.Not all games are won or lost on statistics alone and this was a classic example. And what would or would not have happened with Muschamp on the sideline IMHO can never be ascertained. If you're trying to make the point that it's too early to give up on Beamer, I can readily endorse that
Ummmm...we've known how bad this season would be since last December.Good counterpoint imo, however ours is a college football program that rarely gets better as the season wears on.
I never want to lose, and beating Clemmons would be great, but dude is gonna get a 30 year extension on the field if that happens…..😳Our defense hasn’t improved. We just front loaded the terrible offenses. Each week our defensive ranking will get worse and worse as we start playing the better teams on the schedule.
We might luck out with Clemson being terrible this year to help mask our insufficiency.
One is capable of seeing improvement vs. no improvement. Do tell, what improvements have you seen? On Offense? On Defense? Team discipline? We struggled against a Vanderbilt team that had not scored in an SEC conference game. What you see as negative, as only a sunshine pumper would, is actually just matter of fact. I am not blowing sunshine, I just see what I see. Stevie Wonder could see that this team is not improving. Maybe he'll turn it around, but that is a lot to hope for for a guy who has never been a head coach, much less even a coordinator.Way, way too early to be making any judgements of this type. That's accurate, I believe. The year Tanneyhill was promoted, we got better. Still finished 5-6, as I recall. I should also insert that my remark about not giving up on Beamer extends beyond this year.Good counterpoint imo, however ours is a college football program that rarely gets better as the season wears on.
I didn't expect much this season at all. I am a realist, and I knew Beamer was going to have a tough time for several years cleaning up a mess. Things often get worse before they get better. Everything I said previously still holds true. One is capable of seeing improvement vs. no improvement. Do tell, what improvements have you seen? On Offense? On Defense? Team discipline? Like I said he has not had a full year. You started with your typical whining months ago .He has 44 days until he’s been here a year. He’s completed 88% of his first year.
This is like the guy trying to argue 3 attempted passes versus 1 attempted pass lolLike I said he has not had a full year. You started with your typical whining months ago .
And your constant complaining is like the angry old man yelling get off my lawn…..truly you are a broken record. This is like the guy trying to argue 3 attempted passes versus 1 attempted pass lol
Nobody said 10 years! In 6 to 8 years we will be competing for SEC East Championships and playoff spots (assuming they expand it to 12 teams).Beamer Preseason: Get in the boat, get excited, we're going bowling this year! First year coach with unknown coordinators? Don't ask questions, just blindly follow. Little Shane's energy will push us through and he REALLY wants to be in Columbia!
Ugly win at ECU: A win is a win, the offense will figure it out. Satterfield is a mix of Riley and Joe Brady, what can go wrong?
Barely escape Vandy: Well what did you idiots expect? This team would go 0-12 with Muschamp, 4 wins is better than 2 wins last year. Ignore the all SEC schedule last year, doesn't matter. Little Shane needs 5 years to turn this around.
End of Season 1: 1-7 in the SEC isn't a shock, Little Shane needs 10 years to turn this around. We knew this team was terrible, Satterfield is the only thing holding us back. He deceived little Shane, can't blame him. Shane can't call plays, he was confused on what to look for in an OC.
Says the pitchfork pattyThis is like the guy trying to argue 3 attempted passes versus 1 attempted pass lol
Well the post I responded to said: "I think he lost the fans for the rest of the year with that game." That game. Not three games. IMHO even three games is not enough to make that kind of determination, especially when one of the games is with the top team in the nation who is steamrolling everyone and another one is a win.I don't think it was this one isolated game. .... pitchfork pattyYour post is spot on, all the pumpers can do is change the goal posts and move the timeline. There is no visual evidence that the head coach, OC, guru
My favorite pumper troll comes through again, keep on playa… @CockyinMTP
Say hello to the Page family for me.
The Kentucky game was the eye opener for me. When you get 3 turnovers AND LOSE, that’s telling. That game could have and should have been won. I think he lost the fans for the rest of the year with that game too because attendance has been poor ever since.
Attendance is usually down for those games but not by that much. Usually the crowd is decent for those games because tickets are so cheap that it attracts families that normally can’t go to games because it’s so expensive. Vandy was our lowest attendance SEC game since 1993. Troy was lowest attendance since the makeup game against Akron. Those arent coincidences. So, you think maybe the next home game against Troy and the Fair Game against a winless Vandy team had ANYTHING to do with attendance??

That’s true too. But even with covid we had a very good crowd for EIU and Kentucky so that doesn’t explain it away either. I think if we don’t get blown out tomorrow, and with the bye week, maybe Florida will be well attended.Well, I hate to be "that guy" but you also are not taking in the covid factor. A lot of people are not coming because they don't want to be in a crowd of 70,000 plus friends. I have two friends that have not been to a single game this season, but own seats in 403. Eight seats that went empty for Vandy and Troy. Another friend that missed both games (8 seats) also had covid and just got out of the hospital yesterday. Didn't know he was down until yesterday when I texted him to see why he missed Vandy. His brother texted back that they just brought him home from hospital and he would contact me over the weekend.
And to be fair, OFFENSE brings in the crowds. We don't have any offense.
I think both of these plus the opponents being Vandy and Troy was the reason. FYI, there are NO pairs of seats available from the University in the LOWER BOWL for both Florida and Auburn. There are singles, but no pairs left to purchase. And that has been the case for 2 weeks now.
Maybe it was the poor opponents that was the cause???
LMAO!! You forgot in the description of the O:” it’s an nfl offense, so you know it’s good. “Saints, meets 2019 lsu meets temple with a sprinkling of packers.Beamer Preseason: Get in the boat, get excited, we're going bowling this year! So that's your moral victory? For me I don't expect to EVER get blown out by anybody. I didn't expect to win against UGA but I expect the team to be somewhat competitive. And I damn sure didn't expect to get blown out by TN. To me those are humiliating games.Being blown out by UGA this year really isn't humiliating. For weeks we were the only team to score an offensive touchdown against them. They were and have blown everyone out besides Clemson. I think 3 games was plenty in this case, which has subsequently been proven to be true after 7 games, including another humiliating blow out to a less than stellar TN team. and another last minute one point come from behind win against a terrible team.Well the post I responded to said: "I think he lost the fans for the rest of the year with that game."
