in all honesty, "barely surviving" is a stretch. If not for a 90 yard scoop and score by Syracuse (a 10 to 14 point swing) the final score wouldn't have been close. Clemson's offense out gained Cuse by a wide margin. Their defense held them to 14 points and shut them down in the second half. Yes, the final score showed only a 6 point win, but the narrative surrounding the win is a bit much, considering Syracuse came into the game ranked 15th.

It really doesn't matter. If they keep winning, they are in good shape.


as a Gamecock fan, it's irrelevant to me what Clemson is doing or does. It's a non issue.

The scoop score was offset by the refs doing everything but putting the ball in the end zone for the taters on the backup QBs first drive.
