Hello from CLA, where South Carolina men's basketball is hosting Elon in the last game before the holiday break and the second-to-last game before SEC play.

Meechie Johnson is in street clothes right now and we're told there will be an official update on him coming at 5:30. Would assume he's not playing, but also don't see any kind of brace or anything that would indicate a long term injury. Reminder the Gamecocks don't play again after today for eight days, and then another seven days after that one.

Curious what other Podcast do some of you listen too. I think most are pure click bait trash. Really most of social media and news channels have gone that way.

But there are some terrible gamecock podcast .

Gamecock Central is good. Way to long winded for me but they cover a lot of ground -mostly breaking news type stuff

On3 is good. Same with good info I like the shorter clips. To the point type shows.

The guy that drives around in his car while spewing his own thoughts with no real input is awful .

Then there is a guy with a Spurrier framed picture in the background. Mostly old news - takes 20 min to say the same thing over and over. He’s more like deptula. He knows all the problems and how they need to be fixed. Is never wrong. No new info. Just kicking the same horse 10 different ways. I’m guessing a few on here likes this guy.

Good morning folks, it is officially early signing day. Class of 2024 prospects can sign and seal their letters of intent, and it should be a big day for the Gamecocks with most of the class of '24 expected to sign.

Hearing from Shane Beamer to break down the Class of 2024 signees and the portal additions confirmed today. Lot to discuss with the head coach at the podium for the first time since post-game in the Clemson aftermath.

Updating all of South Carolina football's transfer portal entries this off-season starting with EDGE Donovan Westmoreland, who several outlets are reporting is planning to enter the portal when it officially opens on Dec. 4.

Westmoreland appeared in seven games in 2022 but only two in 2023 and did not enter any stats. He had three years of eligibility remaining after redshirting this season.

Well 2024 starts today. The schedule? Somehow maybe even tougher. Our talent?? Rattler and XL likely both gone. Portal gonna be brutal. We may be less talented across the roster in general in 2024.
