Also FSU hasn’t missed a shot. Cousinard being out hurts but we should be use to that. We never have a healthy team.

Stripes got a little overboard with the one sided whistles (the white guy must be an fsu grad), one of the others began makeup calls to offset (bless him), now they’ve started calling like they’re supposed to. Our guys are playing hard.

Kid....you nailed that first half refereeing concisely. LOL
The first 10 minutes were brutal but we shut FSU down the last 6 or 7 minutes. If we were hitting free throws, it would be very close. Hopefully, the D picks up where it left off in the first half.
I actually like our team.....with some seasoning, I think the Carters and Wright, along with Gray and some others will be really good. Just young. Lots of upside.
Bryant got hammered on that break away dunk attempt. Surprised by no whistle there. Zero chance he misses that dunk without contact.
FSU has some tall lanky quick dudes. You can't drive by someone like that and then try to kick it out...they anticipate and tap those away. Drive to the hole hard and crash the basket together. That slows down the quick hand takeaways and bothers. Of course, we need a ref to actually call the hard fouls on the other team...but then we'd miss the FT

Gray leaves his feet way too often. The slightest head fake or a hint of a head fake sends him soaring.
He has to get tired from all that useless movement.
