CASES TOP 27,000
At least 27,842 people in South Carolina have
tested positive for the coronavirus and 683 have died, according to state health officials.
The S.C.
Department of Health and Environmental Control on Wednesday reported an additional 1,291 cases of the virus, the highest single-day increase since the pandemic began.
Greenville County had the highest number of new cases with 241. DHEC reported 175 new cases in Charleston County and 183 in Horry County.
Health officials reported an additional 10 deaths Wednesday.
