Dont waste your time bud. The kids on this board are already desensitized to the unfolding liberal agenda of force feeding us the anything goes lifestyle. The morals and values that we grew up with in the 50's-60's are just a fading memory. And until the moral majority FINALLY stands up in UNISON and says ENOUGH, well.......

I agree! Whether homosexual or heterosexual, the disgusting obsession with sex in TV commercials this day is out of line. Football games should be something you can let children watch, but with these ads along with Hardees, Axe, Viagra, etc. you can't let children see the commercials.
It doesn't have anything to do with race. It has to do with morality. Obviously, you have no morals. A person with no moral standards is a weak-minded and gutless person. A person who works hard to uphold their own personality morality and advocate for good moral standards in the society around him or her, is a person of character and integrity. Those are the kind of people I choose to associate with (white or black). And the Bible has nothing to do with bigotry. God created all of us and he has the ultimate say in what is wrong or right. I sir do not and will not ever join "the rest of you on the journey" to an eternity of condemnation. I'll stick with Jesus instead. I pray you change your mind and invite Jesus into your hear. You'll find your life will have purpose in this world and the one to come if you do.

Personally I don't care if you are gay or straight or whatever and I don't expect you to judge me on any of my life choices either. It's my life just like it's your life.
BUT, don't expect me to make special accommodations to facilitate you and and I don't expect you to for me.
Live life the way you like but don't force me to accept it. And.... I don't mean just sexual orientation, this goes beyond that to many other things including religion.

I'm sure rainbow coalition things that commercial is so cute. I drank Heineken beer a bunch, but I've moved to Moose Head b/c of that commercial. There's no shame left in the world.
Was it pointed at a 7 year old? It's a beer commercial. I could be way off here, but I don't think 7 year olds are a huge part of Heinekin's target demographic.

I'm so tired of the gay agenda in just about everything u see on tv. They're will be a lot of surprised people when they have to meet God Almighty.
I didn't forget what I typed, and that was a response to BSF's nod of approval to the Hardee's commercials with supermodels seductively eating burgers (and let's be honest, those are pretty sweet commercials). Both the Hardee's and Heinekin commercials have appeared on broadcasts of both college and pro football games, both of which are frequently viewed by 7 year olds.
Now, which is worse? Softcore near-Cinemax females eating cow? Or a gay joke about meat that literally no 7 year old will understand? The answer is that neither is actually appropriate, I'm just getting a tremendous kick out of everybody defending heterosexual advertising. Pssst. It's still sexual advertising. A gay joke in a commercial isn't going to turn your kid gay. That isn't how it works.
They are both wrong. Nothing more fun than watching a game with my 4 year old grandson and having to monitor the commercials. There's some things we shouldn't be forced to explain to small children. So if your point is they are both wrong, then we agree. Not worried about a beer commercial turning my kid gay, no more than I'm worried that the Hardee's commercial will turn them into an abuser of women. I just prefer not to be forced into discussing either with 4 and 5 year olds. Call me crazy.
That's cool. We agree. I was just making the point that "flipping your meat" means nothing to a 4-5 year old, or even a 7 year old. They wouldn't even notice it. An image of a woman with BBQ sauce dripping on her rack is going to make some sort of impression.
My point, of course, is that a handful of people in this thread are using the "think of the children!" ploy in lieu of admitting where the discomfort actually lies. I couldn't imagine being so mortified by gay people that when I see a gay man, I'm forced to envision gay sex acts and be angry about it. Usually, when I see a gay person, I had no idea it happened; if I did, I'm not sure my brain even acknowledges such a non-event. That's not because the gay agenda finally succeeded. It's mostly because seeing another human is generally a non-event. Unless it's somebody you know, or somebody famous, I suppose.
I have two. if they ask questions you answer them truthfully. You can't hide the world from them as seeing a gay couple is Going to happen sooner or later. All you do is explain some men like other men and move on.
It isn't a big deal to tell your kid that there are gays out there. They may giggle because it is different, but that's about the worst that will come out of the conversation . They won't break into tears and go hide in their room. it won't mentally destroy them or give them nightmares like some of the crap on TV

But I do have 4 grandchildren. I can only hope my children do a good job raising them.

I just tend to disagree. And since YOU brought faith into the equation, i will retort. But what i will say is out of obligation and concern for you. That 2000 yr old book isnt just some old book. Think about this. Most of the men in this world are believers. Maybe not Christian. But well educated, Powerful men throughout the world believe in a Supreme being. You dont have to. But it sure helps when dealing with this world and life we live in. I CHOOSE to believe. But what IF your wrong? The way i see it. I have nothing to lose. If i am right and i believe like most people in the world, that i am. Then there is a GOD. If i am wrong, well. Nothing lost. But i have still gained by utilizing the power and guidance of an "old 2000 yr old book" that gives me hope and guidance to navigate lifes tough journey. Thank you for stepping up and apologizing. Are you implying that God is ok with people believing in him because they're hedging their bets? I'd think an omnipotent being would be mostly aware of motives and such.
